District 9 Blu-ray krijgt God Of War 3-demo

Sony Computer Entertainment gaat samenwerken met haar filmzusje. Bij de Blu-ray van District 9 komt een exclusieve demo van God Of War 3. Het gaat vooralsnog alleen om de Amerikaanse release die daar 29 december in de winkel ligt. Nu zijn de meeste Blu-ray's van Sony Pictures regiovrij. Het is echter nog wel de vraag of de game dan ook buiten de VS gespeeld kan worden. Sony Computer Entertainment gooide een paar weken geleden het slot op de Amerikaanse PSN. Content dat daar opstaat kan niet meer in Europa gespeeld worden.


In het persbericht meldt Sony Pictures Home Entertainment senior executive vice president Lexine Wong: "We are thrilled to give consumers not only an incredible high definition presentation of District 9 and the wealth of bonus material about the movie, but also a taste of what is destined to be the biggest video game of 2010. This pairing of the movie and game demo is just another example of what is possible with the Blu-ray format."


Het is nog niet bekend of de Europese versie van District 9 ook de demo bevat. De Blu-ray en dvd staan voor begin volgend jaar gepland.
